Mark Trethewey

This ex-pat Wellingtonian has a background in graphic design, 3d animation & TV production. He has been dabbling with clips for a few years now and has edited, compiled or all-out engineered over 15 – directing half of them.

His clip for Misfits of Science – Fool$ Love picked up '2004 Best Video' at both the Juice TV Music Video Awards and the B.Net Music Awards – it also gained a Special Commendation at the Kodak Music Awards and was one of three finalists for the Vodafone 2004 NZ Music Awards.
The music is always a big part of it for Mark. He is as much preoccupied with his record collection as he is with pushing visuals in bold new directions – hence his aspirations to cross pollinate the two, and support local music while doing so.
