James directs TV, music videos, adverts, and promos and as well as having a sideline as an art-director in the film industry. His work is characterized by an interest in performance and in combining in-camera and post-production techniques to produce creative, artistic storytelling. He likes to make clips that look beautiful and are structured to surprise and entertain the viewer.
